Durban Stadium

The newly-built Moses Mabhida Stadium - named after the chief political instructor and later commander of the ANC's armed wing, the MK - is one of this World Cup's most striking stadia.  Reminiscent of Wembley, it's topped by a magnificent arch that represents this divided nation coming together. Where it tops Wembley is that you can take a cable car to the top of the arch, 106m above the pitch - great for the views but not so great for watching the match.
