News from the Draw

Looks like we're going to become very familiar with Rustenburg if England top Group C. England's first game, against the USA on 12th June, will be played in the northern city near the Botswana border, as will their Round of 16 game if they win the group.  Still, Sun City is nearby as well as are the malaria-free reserves of Madikwe and Pilanesberg so there's plenty to keep you entertained. Problem is, Rustenburg's Royal Bafokeng Stadium is the smallest in the tournament.

Englands other 2 fixtures are against Algeria in Cape Town on 18th June and Slovenia in Port Elizabeth on 23rd June - leaving 5 days for a leisurely drive down the Garden Route between the 2 fixtures. If England win their group and continue to progress, they'll be back in Rustenburg on 26th June, then over Johannesburg for the quarters, and back to Cape Town for the semis.

The final is in Johannesburg on 11th July.
